About this work

Silver medal. Obverse: view of the city of Augsburg above cartouche with year; above that two cherubs with palm branch and laurel wreath, jointly carrying the top of a column, upon which rests a pine cone, within legend. Reverse: double-headed, crowned eagle with sword, scepter and imperial orb within legend; contents: two colored prints, depicting a woman in a black dress with folded hands and a man approaching the woman; seven transparent plates, on which various types of costumes are painted.
