Obverse: searching man with a lamp and staff in hand, representing the philosopher Diogenes; on the left: helmeted coat of arms, on the right, under the lamp: inscription within a border. Reverse: three women, representing the daughters of Danae, pouring water into a bottomless pit within an inscription.
