About this work

Copper medal with a hole in it. Obverse: bust of a man within an inscription. Reverse: a French rooster seizes the Golden Fleece, which hangs from a Spanish pomegranate tree and is in vain guarded by a leopard and a lion with a bundle of arrows in its claws within an inscription; section: ornamental motif.
