About this work

Copper medal. Obverse: crown between year on crossed sword and olive branch, above which a hand from the clouds holds a heart within inscription. Reverse: woman representing the Netherlands, seated on a pedestal, with raised right hand looking up at the sun breaking through the clouds; at her feet a lying lion within two-line inscription.
