About this work
Copper medal. Obverse: man with crown on head and sword in hand, representing Philip II, trampling the snake Aspis and the monster Basiliscus within an inscription. Reverse: flintlock, from which the Order of the Golden Fleece hangs, on a Burgundian cross, flanked by and below a crowned coat of arms within an inscription.
