About this work
Silver medal. Obverse: under fire from arrows, a ship breaks the chain in the middle, which is stretched between two towers of the port of Damiate; on the left tower a flag with a crescent moon flutters; below: crowned coat of arms on palm branches and two crossed bundles of arrows with axes within a legend. Reverse: illuminated by heavenly light, a veiled woman with a wreath in her raised right hand stands between a pillar with an inscription and a printing press; to the left: letter S, to the right: C; section: inscription.
