Obverse: Mars, helmeted and facing left, holding a sword in his right hand and a burning torch in his raised left hand; in the background: a view of the city and St. Antonieschans from the south side within an inscription; below: monogram of the letters S, P, Q, and S. Reverse: a standing woman representing the city of 's-Hertogenbosch, holding a cornucopia full in her left hand and an olive branch above a coat of arms in a cartouche with her right hand, within an inscription; below: date and signature.
