About this work

Bronze medal. Obverse: woman in ancient dress, representing Agriculture, leaning with her right hand on a plow, under which lie sheaves of corn, and holding in her left hand a laurel wreath above a wheel, beehive, sculptor's hammer, and flowers within an inscription; truncation: inscription. Reverse: blank field within a wreath of flowers and leaves and inscription.
