About this work
Single-sided silver badge in the shape of a compass star with an elongated suspension eye at the top of the reverse. Obverse: at the top, coat of arms of Utrecht; at the bottom, shield of St. Luke; between them: medallion with a lying wolf or bear licking a crown which it holds in its forepaws, within a legend and serpent's tongue. Reverse: blank.
