Copy of the request of Reverend Abraham van de Velde to Prince William III to be allowed to preach again in Utrecht after his banishment, with the Prince's permission, written by Constantijn Huygens, 18 May 1675. The Voetian minister had been banished from Utrecht and played a role in 1675 in the conflict in Zeeland between the Voetians and Cocceians. Double-folded sheet written on both sides, with an additional loose leaf attached.
