About this work

Two separate sheets pasted one above the other; on the upper sheet is a silver shield with two fighting eagles in the center and portrait medallions and text in the outer border. The shield was an honorary gift from the city of Hamburg to General von Werder. On the lower sheet are three medals, the middle one with three women, two of whom hold a laurel wreath.
