About this work
Photograph of the silver 'coupe de mariage', a gift from the children for the 50th wedding anniversary of Isaac Abraham Mendes (1788-1869) and Rachel Cohen da Silva (1788-1868) on June 29, 1858. The table piece is now in the Amsterdam Museum and was made by the Amsterdam silversmith Johann Georg Christopher Meijer and purchased from Benten & zonen.
