About this work

Carriage with Princess Wilhelmina and Queen Emma on September 5, 1898, at Frederiksplein in Amsterdam. After arriving at Weesperpoort station, they take a tour through the city. The procession drives into Utrechtsestraat (?). In the background, the Paleis voor Volksvlijt, which would burn down in 1929. On Tuesday, September 6, 1898, Wilhelmina is inaugurated.
