About this work

The Trient mountain stream, which rises from the glacier of the same name, flows through a 200-meter-deep gorge and is located in Vernayaz, between Martigny and St-Maurice. This gorge is shown here. On the left rock face, a dilapidated footbridge is visible, with a man in a round hat posing above the abyss for the camera.
