About this work
Llangollen is located on the River Dee in North Wales. With the opening of the railway around 1865, it became possible to travel from Llangollen to London by train without changing. Llangollen became a popular holiday destination in the nineteenth century. Today, it is a tourist railway. Photo taken from Dee Bridge [?].
