About this work

Old oak (Quercus pseudo-coccifera) at the site where Abraham built an altar (Genesis 13:18). The tree is shown, according to the inscription, in a 'current' [=non-flourishing] state. A standing man with a long staff/rifle [?] and a seated man are depicted under the tree.
