Group of 55 photographs of the province of Syria in the Ottoman Empire collected by photographer Richard Polak. These photographs were exhibited together with other photographs collected during his travels at the Rotterdamsche Kunstkring (1895), Arti et Amicitiae in Amsterdam (1897-1898?) and Societeit 't Collegie in Kampen (date still unknown).
