Cover with fourteen photographs and various documents from the possession of plantation owner Paul Sandel

Cover with fourteen photographs, both loose and on secondary supports. Of the photographs, four are albumen prints, one is a daylight collodion silver print, two are platinum prints, and seven are developed gelatin silver prints. Four photographs were made by Heinrich Ernst & Co., two by Carl J. Kleingrothe, one by Christiaan Benjamin Nieuwenhuis, and the maker of the remaining seven is anonymous. The documents concern official acts between the Sultan of Langkat and Paul Sandel, drawn up by various makers.
