About this work

Two photographs of sculptures of the lions at the foot of Nelson's Column on Trafalgar Square. The bronze lions were placed at the column in 1867. Photographs on album leaves in an album with 68 photographs, mostly with watercolored border decorations. They are mainly portraits on carte-de-visite format.
