Scrapbook with 209 photographs and 33 photomechanical prints, distributed over 48 pages. Additionally, there are photographs pasted on the interleaves and on the inner sides of the front and back covers. Furthermore, the album contains four loose photographs, three handwritten sheets, and a typed letter. The photographs were largely taken by Frank Willem van den Berg, but supplemented with photos by anonymous photographers and aerial photos from the KLM photo service. The album was compiled in the years 1931-1934, but also contains three panoramic photos from circa 1890. One sees the family home of the Van den Berg family at Keizersgracht 806-808 and further the city of Amsterdam, with much attention to the new districts in Amsterdam-Zuid. All pages contain handwritten captions.
