Each page contains 1 portrait with the exception of 2 reproductions of paintings. In total the album contains 26 portraits of well-known people, including members of the royal house such as: Alexander III of Russia, Elisabeth in Bavaria, Franz Joseph I of Austria and King Rama V of Thailand. Also some heads of state and generals such as: President Chester Arthur, Georges Boulanger and Paul von Hindenburg. The 2 photographic reproductions are of paintings by Georg Bleibtreu concerning the Franco-German War.
