Each page contains one passe-partout for a carte-de-visite, and not all passe-partouts in the album are filled. Depicted are various subjects, including photographic reproductions of drawings, prints, and a map, and landscapes and views of buildings in France. The majority of the photographs and lithographs (33) were made by an anonymous maker. The other 12 photographs were made by various photographers, including Toulot-Laroche and H. Chala.
