About this work

Photo album compiled on the occasion of the thousandth flight after World War II by the KLM India line service. It was presented on November 10, 1949, to Hans Martin, the founder of this connection. The album consists of two parts. Part II has a beige leather cover, a title page, and 31 pages with a drawing and photographs from private material of KLM agents, personnel, and friends. It includes views of the regular Amsterdam-Batavia line service, the restoration of the connection after World War II, and views of Hans Martin, the founder of this connection. The album also contains portraits and thank-you notes from his business associates.
