About this work

Behind the parade is an open-air restaurant named Hadji Djansiti. To the left of this inscription is a crown with a W, possibly referring to Queen Wilhelmina. The parade was presumably held for Queen's Day. In the restaurant a sign with Hotel Sappangdjang. Far left is a sign with the inscription Soedi Singgah. Part of family album Dutch East Indies.
