About this work
Portfolio with the title 'Rome' and a number sticker on the front. The ribbons to tie it closed are torn off and missing. The folder contains a loose cardboard cover with fabric patches for storing documents, photographs, etc. This is empty, the photographs are separated from the portfolio. These are images of sights in Greece, France and mainly Italy: city and street views, landscapes, buildings, churches and ruins from Roman times. In addition, photographic reproductions of frescoes and paintings by, among others, Raphael, Caravaggio, Correggio, Giovanni Battista Salvi, Claude Gellée and Botticelli.
