The images were made in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Bavaria, Milan and Paris. The album concerns mainly photographs of landscapes, waterfalls, monuments and churches. Given the sticker of the Delft firm S.P.A. Koumans on the front endpaper, the compiler of the album may have been a Dutchman.
