Photo album in black-green half-leather binding with leather spine and corners. The endpapers are of gold-colored decorative paper. The album contains 22 cardboard leaves, of which 1 is not bound. Except for the loose album leaf, each page usually contains 8 prints of the same format. Occasionally there are photographs in panoramic format. The total of 341 images were made by an amateur photographer during one or more trips by car through southern France, Switzerland and Italy. These are mainly landscapes and village and city views. The car and fellow travelers are often depicted. The prints on the loose album leaf are different: these are portraits and images of a wedding.
