About this work

There were various occasions for which the Westertoren was illuminated: the visit of Queen Wilhelmina (1910), the 25th anniversary of Queen Wilhelmina's reign (1923), the Olympic Games of Amsterdam (1928), the Edison Light Week (1929), the University Festivals (1932) and the 40th anniversary of Queen Wilhelmina's reign (1938).
