About this work
In front of two thatched houses along a road, a few women are talking. Another woman carries a basket on her head. Behind the houses stand trees. Chickens scratch on the road and three children play with marbles. On the facade of the largest house hangs a dovecote. At the top of the sloping road, a man walks leading a riding animal by hand.
