Copy in reverse after a print by Esaias van de Velde, on a slightly smaller format. Shortly after the publication of the series of seven small landscapes by Van de Velde, a series of sixteen landscapes after his work appeared on the initiative of the same publisher. Two landscapes from this series were copies after Van de Velde's prints, including this landscape with a farm and skaters on the ice.
