Monument to William V, 1787

Allegory with a monument in honor of Stadtholder William V and the restoration of his authority in Zeeland. Staircase-shaped monument with the portrait of the prince in profile to the right, atop an Orange tree growing in divine light. On the monument the dedication to the prince, following his restoration of honor, 11 July 1787. Left Fame, right Dutch Liberty with the arms of the prince and of Prussia. Left and right armorial trophies. In the inscription two verses of seven lines on either side of a vignette of an eagle with the arms of Zeeland and Middelburg.
