About this work
The wedding couple stands before a podium with Venus, Amor, Juno and Minerva. Hercules drives away the angry guests. An angel blows a trumpet. On either side of a large staircase stand two vases with the monograms of bride and groom. Above the vases float putti holding the family coats of arms of the two.
