View of a wide country road, possibly the Wagenweg, seen in a northerly direction towards Haarlem. The Wagenweg was formerly referred to as 'The road to Leiden'. In the foreground a farmer with two cows and several peasant couples. By the road lie low houses, trees, and mills. This print is part of the series 'Views near Haarlem'.
