About this work

Saturn rides in his chariot through the sky, drawn by two dragons. He devours one of his children. The signs of Capricorn and Aquarius indicate which people belong to the sphere of influence of Saturn. People born under this zodiac sign have poor health and know no happy end to life. On the left, poor children, a beggar on crutches, a pilgrim, and a hungry woman receive food from charitable monks. On the right, people in prison are visited by a man. In the background, the land is being cultivated. At the bottom of the margin, a text in Latin about the children of Saturn.
