About this work

Omri, the commander of the army of Ela, attacks Zimri in the city of Tirza. When Zimri sees that the city has fallen he sets the palace on fire and perishes in the flames. In the foreground to the right the army of Omri, which marches into the city through the city gate. To the back left Zimri on the balcony of the burning palace.
