About this work
The dead man of God from Judah on the road. Next to him stand the lion and the donkey. The man of God had gone against God's command by eating and drinking in Bethel anyway. When he left there he was attacked and killed by a lion, but not devoured. After the biblical story from 1 Kings 13: 23-28. Print from a series of Italian landscapes.
