About this work

Illumination of a house in Delft, midnight of 30 June to 1 July 1864. A group of students gathered in front of a lit house on a canal. Above the door of the house a sign with the inscription 'Akademia VIVAT P - S'. On the name change of the Delft Academy to the Delft Polytechnic School.
