Mary, John and the three Marys sit kneeling by the body of Christ. To the left and right of this figures look on, one of them carries an alabaster jar. In front of Christ lies the crown of thorns on the ground, to the left in the background view of Mount Golgotha. Under the scene is a line of text in Latin.
