Portrait of Margaret of Lorraine in habit with cordon. In her hands she holds a skull, scourge and cross with nails. Below the portrait are her own coat of arms and that of her late husband René, Duke of Alençon. In a cartouche her name, family relations, date of death and her role in founding several Clarissan convents.
