About this work
On the left stand a Roma man, Pretioze, who is actually Konstance, and Don Jan. Don Jan wears a hunting horn at his belt and holds a spear in his hand. In the background people sit around a fire. Print from an edition of the play The Life of Konstance, which is about the noble Spanish Konstance, who was kidnapped as a child by Roma.
