About this work
Paul is beheaded with a sword; to the left of the scene of his martyrdom he is depicted again, holding a sword. Below the representation twice two lines of Latin. This print is part of a series of 12 (13?) prints of (Christ and?) the apostles, more specifically of the tortures they endured.
