In the foreground Mary Magdalene, in her hand a jar of balm oil. She is weeping. In the background Mary Magdalene anoints the feet of Christ when he is a guest at the house of Simon the Pharisee. The print has a Latin inscription and is part of a print series with famous women from the New Testament.
