About this work

Portrait of Maximilian Henry of Bavaria, Archbishop of Cologne. In the oval frame are the name and function. On both sides of the portrait two allegorical figures, representing Faith and Wisdom. They hold a burning oil lamp and a host above the portrait. On the monument two eagles next to the coat of arms of the bishop-elector.
