About this work
Christ prays to God in the Garden of Olives. His disciples sleep meanwhile. In the clouds, an angel appears to comfort him (Matthew 26:37-45). In the background, Judas points out the place where Christ prays to the soldiers. The print bears a Latin inscription. It is part of a series on the Life of Christ.
