About this work
A 'Heynst', seen from the side. In the middle of the boat stands a man with a pole. To the left at the helm sit two women. The boat is rigged with a 'spritsail rig'. On the bank stand three houses and a number of trees. In the background the outlines of buildings and vegetation are visible. This print is part of a series of twelve prints with various sailing ships.
