About this work
Two round prints with spring landscapes and spring scenes. Left May, the month of love. In the foreground music is played, dancing and eating. Pairs can be seen everywhere walking together or playing games. At the top center the constellation Gemini. Right June, the shearing month. In the center stands the washing and shearing of the sheep and the sorting of their wool. At the top center the constellation Cancer. The print is part of a series on the twelve months.
