About this work
Personification of Hearing: a woman sits on the ground and tunes her lute. Her left leg rests on a gamba, her left arm rests on a drum on which a small pipe organ. Around her, on the ground, lie various musical instruments and open music books. Attribute to her left rear: the deer.
