Monument

Amor hammers a coat of arms onto a monumental tomb, his quiver and bow lie on the ground. Two flying putti show a crowned coat of arms. Around a flowering plant lies a circular snake with the tail in the mouth as a symbol of eternity. In the back left a crowned temple and a scroll with the text: haec munda Edmunde. Next to the temple the statue of the Hercules Farnese. At the bottom in the margin four verse lines in French.
