About this work

The female personification of Envy (Invidia) gnaws on a heart, sitting next to a turkey. In the foreground two dogs fight over a bone. All around are various fantastic scenes and creatures with which this deadly sin is depicted. With an inscription of one line in Latin and one line in Dutch.
