About this work

The man of God from Judah is killed by a lion on the road. Next to him stands his donkey. The man of God had gone against God's command by eating and drinking in Bethel. When he left there, he was attacked and killed by a lion, but not devoured. According to the biblical story in 1 Kings 13: 23-28. Below the image, the title in Latin.
